Unlike block-placement games like Block Pixels, Drop Blocks focuses on quick clicks and smart decisions rather than dragging and arranging shapes. If you want to complete levels efficiently and earn a high score, this guide will show you exactly how to do it.
Click to Clear Blocks
In Drop Blocks, you don't have to move or rotate pieces. Instead, the main mechanic involves finding groups of matching blocks and clicking to clear them.
Look for Groups of 3 or More
To remove blocks, you must locate clusters of three or more blocks of the same color that are touching each other. These blocks can be aligned horizontally or vertically, and larger groups reward you with:
- More points
- More space on the grid
- Better control over upcoming block lines
The bigger the group you clear, the easier it becomes to manage the board.
Make Sure There Is Enough Space for New Block Lines
Drop Blocks adds a unique twist compared to traditional puzzle games. Instead of blocks falling from above, new block lines appear automatically from below.
How It Works:
- A set number of lines is prepared for each level.
- These lines appear below the grid.
- They gradually push upward into the main grid.
- Your job is to clear blocks fast enough to create space for these lines.
If the blocks reach the top of the grid, the game ends instantly. But if you manage to survive until all lines have entered the grid without touching the top, you complete the level.
