CubeBlast

How CubeBlast Works

Each level in CubeBlast introduces a different puzzle objective, but the core gameplay remains the same: blast groups of matching blocks to reach your goal. The simplicity of the rules makes the game accessible, while the strategic layer keeps every level engaging.

Blast the Blocks on the Grid

In CubeBlast, all blocks are pre-filled onto the grid, unlike games such as Block Puzzle Master, where you drag shapes from a waiting area.

This means the puzzle is set from the moment you start the level, and your decisions directly determine whether you succeed or run out of moves.

To clear blocks:

  • Search for groups of two or more blocks that share the same color.
  • Click them to blast the group.
  • Blasting larger groups creates better opportunities and frees more space on the grid.

Every blast changes the layout of the board, so thinking ahead becomes essential, especially at higher levels.

Pay Attention to Moves and Time Limits

Every level in CubeBlast falls under one of two restrictions:

Limited Moves

You are given a fixed number of moves to complete your mission. Each blast counts as one move, so wasting moves on small or ineffective groups can make the level harder.

Countdown Timer

Some levels push you to act fast. You must blast as many necessary blocks as possible before time runs out. Quick scanning, fast clicking, and prioritizing big clusters become crucial here. Whether it is a move-limit or time-limit level, managing your actions efficiently is the key to clearing stages consistently.

Common Missions in CubeBlast

CubeBlast includes a wide variety of missions that grow more challenging as you progress. Below are some of the most common objectives you will encounter:

Collect the Required Number of Blocks

Many levels require you to gather specific colors. For example, you may need to collect:

  • 30 red blocks
  • 20 blue blocks
  • 15 green blocks

To complete these missions successfully:

  • Focus on the colors the level requests.
  • Avoid blasting groups that don't contribute to the goal.
  • Try to create larger clusters of the required colors before blasting.

This helps you save moves and meet the target more efficiently.

Break Frozen Blocks

Some blocks appear encased in ice, and you must free them to complete the level.

To break frozen blocks, you blast a group of matching-color blocks next to the frozen cube. The ice cracks and eventually disappears after enough adjacent blasts. Once unfrozen, the block becomes normal and can be cleared like others.

These levels require careful planning because you must create good opportunities near the frozen areas.

Destroy Stone Blocks

Stone blocks operate differently because they cannot be blasted directly and have no color. To break them, you need to blast groups adjacent to the stone block. Each nearby explosion damages the stone until it eventually breaks.

Since stone blocks take multiple hits to destroy, positioning plays an important role. Clearing surrounding blocks first often helps you create powerful chain reactions.
